| What’s cooking in the Labs: |
| n-Squared Labs will be developing sites, blogging mechanisms, wap sites and other innovative web and mobile applications (given the current web penetration rates in Greece) that will allow users to enjoy rich and engaging on-line and mobile experiences. |
| More precisely the scope of n-Squared Labs’ activities will be spanning on: |
- Creation of community-based rating services in which users can rate existing categories but also create their own, such as RateIt. The services will be enhanced with a sequence of n-Squared Labs algorithms which will – among others - allow collaborative filtering, thus enhancing social networking.
- Creation of user-generating content services with community effects, such as "moBlog", based on technologies such as "MMS 2 WEB" and "MMS 2 WAP"
- Development of innovative services (proximity marketing, multi-player games) based on location-based technologies such as Bluetooth, and exploration of the potentials created by these alternative channels of delivery and communication, as well as user-generated local content
- Creation of “next-generation” applications based on "virtual world" mechanics (such as avatars, 3D browsing) and exploration of their social networking effects
